For Years, Quickprint of Rutland had been known as just that: a quick printer. In August of 2002, Mark and Tricia Lawrence bought the business with the idea that they could do more than just print quickly. Or inexpensively. No, they were going for the gold ring. Their goal is to provide quick, affordable, high quality printing.
Besides those lofty goals, Quickprint set out to make color printing affordable as well. Now Quickprint is cranking out full-color printing, with runs as few as a couple of hundred sheets. In addition to four color printing, Mark added digital copying to improve the quality of copies for their customers. He has instituted computerized production systems that have improved workflow and increased production.
Mark and Tricia bring an extensive background in printing to the Quickprint business. In fact, they met while working for a printer! When the chance to purchase Quickprint presented itself, they couldn’t resist. “I wanted to run a business in a forthright, honest manner,” explains Mark. He and Tricia saw this as the chance to take a well known business and move it to the next level and, by all accounts, they have accomplished their goal.
